Silver Sizing

Cuff Sizing

At WOT, we make slightly adjustable cuffs that will be labeled to fit a size S/M or M/L size. Occasionally we make bracelets that fasten for the same sizing options. The sizes will be shown in the item description.

In order to measure your wrist, take a strip of paper or a soft tape measure and wrap it around your wrist above the bone. Not too tight, not too loose! A small wrist is about 6".

Our cuffs will come finished with a roughly 1" gap to easily slide onto your wrist. Once you put your cuff on, gently squeeze it to fit your specific wrist, but be sure to leave a gap so you'll be able to slide it off. Cuffs are placed on and off by turning them sideways and sliding them onto the small part of your wrist (closest to the body), then turning them to sit face-up on top of your wrist. Reverse this process to remove. Avoid opening and closing the cuff to get it on and off- this will eventually lead to breaking your piece.

Ring Sizing

We have ring sizers available to ship to you for only $3 here. We recommend either this option or visiting your local jeweler to find your right size. Make sure that the ring fits over your knuckle so it doesn't get stuck!

FAQ

  • What is your return policy?
Whims of Tide is currently not accepting returns at this time.
  • When will I receive my order?
Ready to ship items will be sent out within 2-4 business days of order.
  • Do you offer custom pieces?
At this time Whims of Tide does not offer customer goods. However, if you are not seeing your ring size, please reach out to hiya@whimsoftide.com
  • Where do you ship?
We ship everywhere in the US & Canada. We currently do not offer international shipping outside of these areas.
  • How do I care for my sterling silver jewelry?
Follow these sterling silver care tips to keep your jewelry in tip top shape! Sterling silver is 92.5% silver. The remaining is a mix of metals that can include nickel. All fine metals will tarnish with time due to moisture & oxygen exposure. This means the silver will go from bright and shiny to a darker silver color. It will never rub off on your skin or turn it green. Sterling silver is waterproof and not harmed by water exposure, but will cause tarnish. Tarnish can be removed with a polishing cloth.
  • What metals do you use?
We only use .925 Sterling Silver & 14k Gold Filled metal. These metals will never turn your skin green, unless you have an existing allergy to these metals. At WOT, we also use recycled metals where possible (always .925 and 14k Gold).
  • Will my jewelry tarnish?
Yes! This is a natural occurrence for all fine metals when exposed to moisture and oxygen. Clean your tarnished silver with a polishing cloth (provided in your shipment) and with proper storage care. You can avoid tarnish by storing your jewelry in a dry place, and by wearing your jewelry frequently!
