Hey — I’m Jen, founder of Whims of Tide. My workshop is right here on Florida’s Gulf Coast, where salt air, sun, and sea shape everything I make. I’m a self-taught maker, wife, mom, dreamer, and always learning by doing (failures included — they’re part of the process!).

​

I’m originally from Wisconsin — country skies, wild woods, and those unexpected treasures you can only find if you really look. Back in 2012 I launched a baby clothing line, which was my first real dive into creating, designing, and putting my heart out there. That taught me more than I knew I needed: how to show up, roll with the changes, and believe that the things I feel called to make might be exactly what someone else is looking for.

Whims of Tide grew out of a deep craving for creation, adventure, and stories. Whether I’m road-tripping to somewhere new, scuba diving under blue waves, or turning ideas into jewelry in the studio, I carry that energy into every piece.

Every design is a reminder: follow your whims, live with intention, and choose  beyond ordinary. And again—thank you for being here. You’re the reason I get to keep creating.
